April - Latvijas pasta banka has confirmed its credit card's design with the MasterCard and started production of cards.

May - Latvijas pasta banka has signed US PATRIOT ACT.

June - the Bank's electronic payment system - E-PASTABANKA was launched.

June - Latvijas pasta banka has opened correspondent account in RUR, USD and EUR with Promsvyazbank.

July - Latvijas pasta banka has opened correspondent account in BYR with Belgazprombank.
